March Wallpaper

I am happy to share this cozy wallpaper with you all for March. I am a huge Harry potter fan, so this month's wallpaper was inspired by the Hufflepuff House. I wanted this design to have the warm and inviting feeling that Hufflepuffs embody.
Thanks for reading and enjoy!

Book Review: Farenheit 451

Hello, everyone! This is my first book review blog post I want to share a book I have read recently. Fahrenheit 451 is a science fiction book published in 1953. What I love about science fiction is that it is typically based on an important topic in science at the time. For example, when Ray Bradbury wrote Fahrenheit 451 scientists had just discovered that book paper burns at 451 degrees Fahrenheit.

This story takes place in a futuristic America where books are prohibited and firemen burn books instead of putting out fires. We follow fireman, Guy Montag, as he discovers the secret history of his country and the beauty of books. It is a fairly easy read and it is interesting to see many similarities in our technology today and Bradbury's dystopian culture.

I recommend this book to everyone. As someone who loves literature I loved seeing the importance of books so beautifully expressed. But, it is a great book for hesitant readers because it will challenge you to imagine a world without books.
